Frye knockoffs

For those of us who can't fork out hundreds of dollars on Frye boots, we can only dream of owning such adorably rugged footwear. I have seen some variations of Frye but it's always at a cost and really, why wouldn't I just get the real deal then?

But last week on a random trip to Target, I stumbled upon these gorgeous Frye knock offs for only $50! They are a darker shade of brown than these photos show and they are absolutely gorgeous! They only had a size 5 and 6 in the store and though the shopaholic in me tried to squeeze my size 8 foot into the 6, I decided to go home to purchase them online. Unfortunately, Target doesn't ship to Canada AND they didn't have the brown colour left in my size. They had a full size range in the black but I needed the weekend to think about it because I didn't want to settle on a colour I didn't actually want.

I came back from the long weekend to discover that Target.com had a sale of buy one get one half off and my size was gone in both colours.

What a nightmare!!!!!

I told my friend about them and she told her mom who was in Seattle to keep an eye out for them. Her adorable mom picked up a 6 for my friend and an 8 for me and it will cost me less in shipping because they are from Canada.

So I get Frye-esq boots that fit into my student budget! Yay, I can't wait until they arrive :)
